Documenting the growth of an international Buddhist movement

The Triratna Buddhist Order and Community (formerly Friends of the Western Buddhist Order) is an international network of committed Buddhists dedicated to communicating the Buddhaʼs teaching in ways appropriate to the modern world. It was founded by Urgyen Sangharakshita in 1967. (Read more on TheBuddhistCentreOnline.)

Triratna Video Library is a project of the the Urgyen Sangharakshita Trust, the charity dedicated to preserving Urgyen Sangharakshita’s legacy.

In 2005 Sangharakshita donated all his books and artefacts to the Trust, and by his Will also placed his literary, photographic and video archives also into the Trust’s care. This valuable legacy is being made accessible to future generations through various projects including Urgyen House, the Sangharakshita Library, the Triratna Picture Library and the Triratna Video Library.

Will you help us to keep these videos available?

A tradition starts with a history and fortunately, much of Triratna's history was captured on video.

We're working to make these videos available so that future generations have a clear sense of connection with their lineage.

But we can only do this with your help!
